[Oil&Gas] INPEX Vacant Position (as per Oct 2011)

 

INPEX CORPORATION is an oil & gas exploration and production company based in Japan. The mission of INPEX is to provide a stable and efficient supply of energy to our customer by exploring and developing oil and natural gas resources throughout the world. In Indonesia, INPEX is acting as Kontraktor Kontrak Kerjasama (KKKS) with BPMigas for many upstream projects since 1966. INPEX is the operator of Masela Block (Abadi project) offshore Maluku, Arafura Sea, Indonesia, that is now in the early stage of Abadi field development with floating liquefied natural gas concept for future commercial FLNG production.

Parallel with the activities, INPEX Organization is growing rapidly and currently we urgently need:

 

1.    Sr. Staff – Interface Change Management

2.    Sr. Interface Engineer

3.    Log Base and SURF Interface Coordinator

4.    SURF Risk Coordinator

5.    Staff – Interface Change Management

6.    FLNG Interface Coordinator – 3 persons

7.    FLNG Risk Coordinator – 3 persons

Sr. Staff – Interface Change Management

Key Responsibilities:

a.    The primary function of the Senior Staff of Interface Change Management is:

1.    Coordinate all MoC resulting from execution of the work;

2.    Be responsible for change issues and the coordination between Company teams and Contractors;

3.    Provide project expertise in the coordination and administration of project changes; and

4.    Provide assurance that the project multi-discpline, multi-contract changes are being actively and effectively controlled and monitored.

b.    Be the single point of contact for change issues

c.     Develop and maintain change registers and issue reports as required

d.    Log and track all potential changes, changes and their status including closed items

e.    Administer MoC and ensure project changes are identified, documented, reported and monitored to closure

f.     Supply timely and correct information on MoC activities when requested

g.    Develop and Deliver MoC training programs

h.    Organize meetings to discuss MoC. Clarify changes, attain agreements between parties, assign actions and need dates for tasks to be completed

i.      Arrange and facilitate Change Management Committee meetings ensure parties are aware of change information and requirements are understood

j.     Support and assist the Change Control Manager and MoC Coordinator

k.    Ensure compliance with the MoC process and procedures 

l.     Provide project expertise and coordinate the project changes

Requirements:

  1. A minimum of Bachelor Degree in Engineering (civil, mechanical, electrical); Business Administration or other Sciences related to Oil and Gas Industry
  2. 15+ years experience in the Oil and Gas industry with at least 5 years in the areas of Cost, Schedule, Project Engineering or Project Finance Engineering
  3. Fluency in English both spoken and written

d.    Excellent presentation, communication and influencing skills for effective stakeholder/staff engagement

  1. Computer Literacy and report writing skills. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office and related software
  2. Able to work well in a multicultural team and having high motivation, strong customer focus, effective team player, discipline, dynamic with good personality

Sr. Interface Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

a.    The primary function of the Senior Interface Engineer is:

1.    Be responsible for development and implementation of the IM Plan;

2.    Coordinate management of all interfaces between project Contractors including FLNG, SURF and Logistics Supply Base;

3.    Coordinate management of all Company internal interfaces;

4.    Provide project expertise and coordinate the interfacing elements of the project.

5.    Provide assurance that the project multi-discipline, multi-contract interfaces are being actively and   effectively managed.

b.    Be the Company point of contact for all and any interface issues

c.     Develop, maintain, and administer the COMPANY Interface Database; and the Interface Management System and ensure interfaces are identified, documented, reported and expedited to closure

d.    Maintain the Interface Management System Database both for Company and Contractor

e.    Produce timely and correct reports detailing all project interfaces, and their status including closed items

f.     Ensure and proactively encourage compliance with process and procedures by Company and Contractors

g.    Arrange and facilitate Internal Interface meetings to ensure interface parties are aware of interdependences and information and schedule needs are understood

h.    Proactively help to ensure interface design integrity and specifications are aligned and compatible

i.      Be responsible for interface issues and be responsible for coordination between Company internal teams and Contractors

j.     Engage with the Discipline Engineers, the Project Management Team and other departments to ensure the integrity of internal interfaces and their approval

k.    Support the Interface Manager and review, update and deploy interface procedures

l.     Provide Interface Management System Training to Company and Contractor personnel

m.   Help to verify the Interface Query Forms to ensure compliance to Company requirements

n.    Mentor and assist delivery team Interface Coordinators to ensure consistency and compliance with Company procedures

Requirements:

a.    A minimum of Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering (civil, mechanical, electrical); Business Administration or other Sciences related to Oil and Gas Industry

b.    15 years experience in the Oil and Gas industry with at least 5 years in the areas of Interface Management and/or 5 years in Project Engineering

c.     Fluency in English both spoken and written

d.    Excellent presentation, communication and influencing skills for effective stakeholder/staff engagement

e.    Computer Literacy and report writing skills. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office and related software

f.     Able to work well in a multicultural team and having high motivation, strong customer focus, effective team player, discipline, dynamic with good personality

Log Base and SURF Interface Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

a.    The primary function of the Log Base and SURF Interface Coordinator is:

1.    Coordinate interfaces between project Contractors including FLNG, SURF and Logistics Supply Base

2.    Provide project expertise and coordinate the interfacing elements of the project

3.    Provide assurance that the project multi-discpline, multi-contract interfaces are being actively and   effectively managed

4.    Encourage the free flow of information to proactively address interface issues

b.    Be a point of contact for Company and Contractor for interface issue   

c.     Administer the Interface Management System and ensure interfaces are identified, documented, reported and expedited to closure                                           

d.    Maintain the Interface Management System Database both for Company and Contractor 

e.    Produce timely and correct reports detailing all interfaces, and their status including closed items                                                                                                    

f.     Ensure and proactively encourage compliance with process and procedures

SURF Risk Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

a.    The primary function of this position will be to coordinate, monitor and administer the Contractors' Risk Management activities as per the Masela Risk Management processes

b.    Provide assurance that the Contractors' Project Risk Management is  actively and effectively managed, and properly fed in to the Company's Risk Management System

c.     Provide project risk management expertise and coordinate the Risk Management Activities by the Contractors

d.    Administer the Risk Management System interface for the Contractors, and ensure  Risk items are properly identified, evaluated, documented, reported and expedited to closure

e.    Arrange and facilitate Risk Management meetings / workshops to ensure that proper Risk Management is being conducted by the Contractors

Requirements:

a.    A minimum of Industrial Engineering (civil, mechanical, electrical); Business Administration or other Sciences related to Oil and Gas Industry

b.    10-15 years experience in the Oil and Gas industry with at least 5 years in the areas of  Risk Management and/or in Project Management

c.     Fluency in English both spoken and written

d.    Excellent presentation, communication and influencing skills for effective stakeholder/staff engagement

e.    Computer Literacy and report writing skills. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office and related software

Staff – Interface Change Management

Key Responsibilities:

a. The primary function of the Interface Change Management Staff is:

1.    Coordinate, control and monitor Company MoC resulting from execution of the work

2.    Be responsible for change issues and the coordination between Company teams

3.    Provide project expertise in the coordination and administration of project change

b.    Develop and maintain change registers and issue reports as required

c.     Log and track all potential changes, changes and their status including closed items

d.    Supply timely and correct information on MoC activities when requested

e.    Administer the MoC process and ensure project changes are identified, documented, reported and monitored to closure

FLNG Interface Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

a.    The primary function of the FLNG Interface Coordinator is:

1.    Coordinate interfaces between project Contractors including FLNG, SURF and Logistics Supply Base

2.    Provide project expertise and coordinate the interfacing elements of the project

3.    Provide assurance that the project multi-discpline, multi-contract interfaces are being actively and   effectively managed

4.    Encourage the free flow of information to proactively address interface issues

b.    Be a point of contact for Company and Contractor for interface issue
