Maaf nih menyambung postingan lama, moga-moga bermanfaat khususnya buat Mas Agus Setiawan.

 

Kebetulan saya ada artikel mengenai jenis-jenis American Standart & British Standart Thread ( see Attachment ). Di sini disebutkan ada juga jenis NPTF ( F  for Fuel ), siapa tahu ada yang salah tafsir juga menyamakan antara FNPT dg NPTF yang sebenarnya berbeda.

Pak Agus, NPT adalah jenis ulir. Biasanya diperjelas dengan FNPT atau MNPT. FNPT = Female NPT MNPT = Male NPT Jadi kalau Pak Agus hanya menyebutkan NPT saja, bisa terjadi salah interpretasi antara Male dan Female. Lebih baik di cek dahulu, apakah Valve tersebut connection-nya jenis Female thread (FNPT) atau Male Thread (MNPT). Kalau sudah Female thread, berarti tidak perlu diberi adapter lagi.
