[Oil&Gas] Hydrotest (system pressure test) of tie-in spools/ pipes?

 

Dear Migas experts,

Mohon masukannya yah, mengenai system pressure test for tie-in welds.
Di project yg saya sedang kerjakan, ada discussion mengenai tie-in operation. Di antara pipeline A (onshore, milik EPC A) dgn pipeline B (offshore, EPC B) akan ditie-in dgn 3 pipe joints (reducer + spool + final tie-in pipe joint).

Onfshore Pipeline A dan Offshore Pipeline B sudah di-hydrotest masing-masing (system pressure test) tapi 3 joints di antaranya apakah perlu di hydrotest? Saya baca2 dari design codes, dan berikut interpretasi saya:
• DNV OS F101 Section A807 - for golden welds (critical welds e.g. tie-in welds that will not be subject to pressure testing etc etc…). Dari sini saya pikir kalau kita definisikan these 3 pipe joints as golden welds, berarti saya ga usah hydrotest, bener kah?

• DNV OS F101 Section 5 Table 5-1 - requirements to waive system pressure test – Bagaimana saya interpret table ini yah? Harus fulfill semua requirements atau salah satu saja boleh ya? My pipeline is manufactured to SAW method; and all linepipes have been hydrostatically pressure tested during manufacture; AUT to be performed (min. 3 dari 8 requirements sudah fulfilled)

• ASME 31.4 Section 437.4.1 - Because it is sometimes necessary to divide a pipeline into test sections and install test heads, connecting piping, and other necessary appurtenances for testing, or to install a pretested replacement section, it is not required that tie-in welds be tested; ..shall be inspected by radiographic or other accepted NDT methods.

Dari codes ini pengertian saya…these 3 joints tidak usah hydrotest secara system krn sudah di-test saat manufacture, dan as long as we fulfill NDT requirements tidak usah juga. Benerkah? Mohon pencerahan dari yang sudah berpengalaman ya.
