JOB TITLE:
Pipeline Advisor
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Manage all onshore & offshore construction, installation activities and personnel associated with the rigid & flexible pipeline T&I.
* Monitor the installation engineering work and progress of T&I Subcontractors.
* Manage the Pipeline Interfaces between Client, EPCI Main Contract and T&I Subcontractor.
* Provide overall/detailed technical advisory, coordination and accountability for rigid pipeline (including CRA Clad pipe), flexible pipeline and PLEM T&I.
* Provide pipeline input into HAZID's and other safety related analysis.
* Manage environmental controls in accordance with company policies.
* Manage and coordinate main Contractor and associated subcontractors to ensure completion in accordance with Specifications and schedule.
* Manage the execution of all contract elements relating to the onshore & offshore scope of work
* Manage technical interface issues between the subsea equipment (pipelines/PLEMS) and platform.
* Be responsible for the management of the construction & installation team including, onshore support engineering, marine spreads, offshore installation and commissioning activities.
* Fully conversant with all Offshore Emergency Procedures.
* Make minutes, documents and final reports in one's own duties.
KEY ACTIVITIES:
* Reporting against progress, issues during the project.
* Ensure all works are conducted safely to Company Safety, Health and Environmental standards.
* Ensure works are completed in accordance with the QA plan.
* Ensure multi-national offshore issues of this project are well covered.
* Ensure good and open communication is maintained throughout the project.
* Anticipate and resolve issues and concerns arising during offshore phase of the project
* Ensure timely certification and regulatory compliance.
* Ensure timely project completion and handover of the offshore phase of the project.
* Resolve any interface issues relating to this phase of the Project, including participation in SIMOPs work plans.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
. University Degree/Diploma or equivalent in Engineering, preferably with Multi-Disciplinary experience.
. Experience of at least 15 years in the oil and gas industry ncluding working for multi-national companies.
. Previous Offshore Management experience.
. Experienced offshore at Company Representative or equivalent level.
. Experienced in offshore construction including submarine pipelines and umbilical installation.
. Demonstrated ability to work on multi-national, multi-cultural level.
. Demonstrated ability to well communicate.
. Familiar with offshore completions and closeout of Projects.
OTHER DETAILS (IF APPLICABLE):
* Must have extensive experience of installation engineering, construction and installation of CRA Clad & Carbon Steel pipelines and be familiar with the QC and planning aspects for such pipeline installation work.
* Must have installation experience of flexible pipelines, subsea cables and umbilicals with associated trenching activities.
Preferably is Pipeline Engineer in at least a successful pipeline project in FEED/Detailed Design and Installation.
* Must have design and installation experience of subsea structures
* Must have experienced of pipeline pre-commissioning activities.
POSITION DURATION (PLANNED):
* August 2011 until October 2012
