As I mentioned, one of my clients, a German company which developes, manufactures and sells innovative products related to power transformers is looking for an Area Sales Engineer who will be based in Jakarta.

I saw on your complete LinkedIn profile that you have some experience in transformers, but not exactly in Sales.

I herewith give you some more details of the job description:

  

Your responsibilities:

-          Marketing of services and products to customers in selected countries within the Asia Pacific Region

-          Develop new market opportunities and maintain excellent business relationships with existing and potential clients

-          Conduct product presentations of the company's entire product range

-          Provide technical and commercial support to customers including inquiries and clarification of orders

-          Follow-up projects, inquiries, quotations and orders

-          Preparation of market analysis for the assigned countries

-          Maintain close cooperation with the relevant department in headquarter/ Germany as well as agents for the assigned countries

  

Profile:

-          degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably major in Power/ High Voltage

-          3-5 years relevant working experience

-          Dynamic, self starter, motivated, team player with good interpersonal and excellent negotiation skills

-          Good numeral understanding, accuracy and integrity

-          Ability to work in tight deadlines

-          Willingness to travel

-          Good communication

-          Good command of written and spoken English

-          Computer skills: MS Office
